Boxing Steel Beam Ideas
I'm finishing my basement and have this I-beam to box in. The beam measures 16" deep by 28' long. I was originally thinking bout making the recessed panel look and painting the recess to the wall color. Also thought about some sort of wainscot look. Got any pics you'd like to share of something similar? Seen a few pics on a search here, but nothing with this long of span. I have it skinned now and ready to install rails. Just didn't want it to look boring in design. Will post progress pics if interested. Thank you. BJ
ps. Try and overlook the mess. ![]() ![]()
