Boxing Around Lally Columns

There is a connector I saw at a tradeshow that wrapped around a 3-1/2" lally column. It was plastic, came in 2 halves and created a square box to fasten framing, finish or whatever and convert a round column to a square box. have any of seen or used this product? Thanks

I've never used these specifically because we normally don't DW lallys. Whenever I've had to DW a lally, I shoot cleats into the floor and ceiling, install some ply and then drywall over the ply.

The McFeelys option is definitely faster!

How are those kept at the proper vertical spacing on the posts? Adhesive?

I use those on commercial builds. They are compressed to the column with the screw. It saves allot of time. Havent had a problem yet.
