Baseboard And 1/4 Round At Circular Walls
What do you guys do for baseboard on a round wall. I use the plasticky stuff that flexes but am not all that happy with the finished look. Please don't tell me that I have to soak regular baseboard in water

Re: Baseboard And 1/4 Round At Circular Walls
Have you tried MDF moulding? It's quite flexible.
If you must stick with real wood and youre patient and dedicated, set the stop on your miter box so that it doesnt cut all the way through the baseboard, and cut blade-wide notches every few inches along the BACK of the piece, or more if needed. It will aid in the flex, but be sure to be careful with it! What is the radius of the wall? |

Thanx Kris. I read about that tip somewhere once and totally forgot about it. Must be getting old!
