Question

6" Diamond Arbor

I've look of and on for years now,
Google-ing and searching sites of
manufactures who I know.
Now I'll try tapping into the vast
network of brain cells (and stored trivia)
on here.
I'd really like to find a source for
6" diamond(or universal)arbor carbide
blades.
I still love the old Skil 526, but my old
blades have all been re-sharpend to
nothing.

Re: 6" Diamond Arbor

lol....when I first read your post I thought you meant a 6" arbor and I was trying to picture who would wield this saw....

Here's a link for a segmented blade....

Here's a link for a continuous rim blade....

Since you probably meant for wood cutting try these folks, they're very friendly:

Thanks, but I need new blades.
Haven't been able to find any for 15 or more
years.
Since the old gal is going on 57 years with no
sign of giving up, I figure she deserves some
nice new ones to make her old age easier.
She is such great saw for breaking down
full sheets in the shop.

'Twill be interesting to see
how much they might charge.
I think they're gonna be a bit
upscale for me.

Yeah, I'll be interested to hear what they quote you, I figured it would be high but it never hurts to ask, maybe they'll surprise us.

Re: 6" Diamond Arbor

Matsu****a makes a very nice 6" diamond arbor saw blade.
1/16 x 36 x1/2 with knock out.
I also have a 1950ish Skill saw with a 6" blade.
