2 1/2" Pine Dowels/Balusters
HELP!
I am in a dire search for some milled 2 1/2" pine or spruce lodgepole material to match some existing balusters in a Utah ski cabin. I have struck out so far. I found some 2 1/2" material in a farm supply place that was fine except it was pressure treated. I bought some of that to experiment with, but alas, after bleaching it, it still looks somewhat green. If any painter type folks have any idea how to make something not look green, I sure would like your advice. I can't imagine there is nowhere to find this material. Any guidance is greatly appreciated. |
