Do Yard signs help gain leads much or not?

Are you kidding me, (I mean that in a good way)

Yes, Yes, Yes in 2008 I landed 70 of my 500 leads off yard signs.

In 2007 I landed 120 of my 900 leads off yard signs.

Yes, plus they are required so why not. At first I had some real nice signs, now I have the stick in the dirt kind. Easier on the HO and me.

I think they're a good deal. Once you pay for them, and they aren't much, there's no cost to using them. They can be reused many times.

.
Yes big time, around 30k just from sign leads only. Not bad
From a $300-400 investment. Good for me to get work from
homeowners

In 2006+2007 I had a great ROI on yard signs, in 2008 they did not work so well. Mid way through the year I had them redone and the results did not improve.

That is the only method of advertisment I have paid for that has produced anything. You get lost in the yellow pages in the middle of everyone else. Resturaunt menus are only read when someone is hungry and returned to the counter when they have picked their poison. With the exception of word of mouth, it is the only thing.

They are a great way of getting your name out there. We use the cheap disposable kind and ask the customer to leave them there until they are tired of looking at them . Then just throw them away.

BTW I have gotten as many as 6 calls off of one yard sign.

Required? You have a law that requires you to post a sign that you are working on someones property. I thought that is what the permit was for. Sounds like the state has their hand in your pocket once again.
