Where Educated People Shop

I was listening to a radio ad for Direct buy and their ad includes "where educated people shop" or something very similar. I feel like I might be stupid because I do not shop there.

Give me some feedback on this>

SMART HOMEOWNERS CALL DOUG FOR THEIR HOME IMPROVEMENTS NEEDS

Call now to find out how you can protect your investment with quality products like other smart homeowners.

DECKS~~WINDOWS~~DOORS~~SIDING

DO you think a campaign like this would make you want to call Doug?

Re: Where Educated People Shop

I checked out Direct Buy 2 1/2 years ago, and they have a very poor rating. High closure rate on signing up customers though. Check out rip-off report or google.

I am not as smart as there customers, so NO, that message would be meaningless to me. Then again, I didn't sign up with them and cancelled my tour of the showroom. I should have gone just to see their sales closing in action from what I read though.

No
It kinda makes me want to hit Doug upside the head with my 1/2 empty but still frosty beer mug

PS Direct Buy is a sleazy outfit who's marketing caters to some pretty base consumer fears and appeals to consumers who think all retail stores are out to rip them off, and they are smarter than that by buying online
Do you really want that kind of customer?

Of course, the irony is that said consumers aren't very smart if they think they are really buying a $3500 item, and it's only $1500 because it's online
Ha ha

After reviewing your proposal specifications for- "Decks-Windows-Doors-Siding" -, with DougChips, you will be a more informed consumer on what to look for to meet your needs.

or just, you will know what to look for (look out for) to make your decision.

or, you will know how to avoid costly mistakes!

Ed

Just throwing something out there.

I have never seen the outfit on-line or off. Their ads on the radio just made me wonder If I am dumb or not in the know. Their web-site only gives two price comparisons.

I like their message, because it is bold and sort of says your an idiot to shop anywhere else.

I feel horrible, my wife just ordered Chinese food for dinner---we forgot to order it from Direct Buy! Yeah, I am going to start selling battery powered sump pumps for the dumb people that do not invest in one of my back-up generators that we only market to the smart people. I might also get into inflatable pools for the idiots that fail to buy our IG pools.
