I give them a price range from low end to high end after I have measured, and ask them where they would like to be.
This works great for my business, because the difference in pricing on your average hardwood flooring project are minimal compared to a contractor building a house for someone. |

I find out when I go through their dresser drawers or pop the wall safe.
Discretely done during the discovery phase
