What To Put On My Yard Signs?

I have several metal yard signs with my company name my number and a generic house logo. I put these signs in the yards of the homes I'm working on. I now have 25 super cheap 2'x3' yard sign that need vinyl wording and logo. I will be putting these up every where knowing they may not be retrieved. Question is what should I put on my sign? What works best for you? I do all construction services on residential homes. Whats the best way to let drivers know that.Should I just put my name and number? I have a buddy who is always busy. he makes his signs out of scrape wood, stencils and spray paint. it says CONCRETE and his number. I can't do that because I do it all. any help? thanks

I just have "Code Electric, Commercial Residential, phone # and web site" on mine.

Anything more, IMPO, is wasted. If you can't convey who you are, what you do, and how to contact you, then you have too little information or too much.

Logo with your name, web site & phone number - your logo or name should convey what you do

Unless they stop they will not even be able to see all the other text, much less remember it (make sure your site is clean & organized or you are announcing that your a slob that doesn't care - at least to them)

thats what i'm thinking. name number logo. I need to get a site set up. What colors work best? my signs are white with a green house and black lettering

I would put what you do and your phone number in large letters. No one cares what your name is they want to know what you do and how you can help them

Keep in mind that most of the people that will see your yard sign are MOVING! They typically will not be standing motionless in frontof your sign. Less is more! Name and phone number. Unless your name doesnt state what you do, then you must add that. Otherwise less is more!

Less is more. Use colors that contrast well at night or a logo that pops.

It mystifies me when I see a site sign I can't even read in the daylight let alone at night. Might as well hang a roll of toilet paper on a stick.
