What Is A Bad Lead?
What is a bad lead, that is the question??
Take a look at this credit back policy and let me know what you guys think. I'm sure you won't find another one like this, but companies still keep complaining. Thought's, Idea's, Suggestion's..

Re: What Is A Bad Lead?
EDIT: I'll put this up here so you know. I use the terms "you" and "your" as if the lead service were a company that you owned or worked for...maybe it's not. On first reading it just seemed like you were leaning that direction. If it's not, I apologize.
Now then...original post: How 'bout leads where the work is already being done? Not necessarily duplicate leads, maybe they found another contractor on their own. Whether or not it's the lead services fault, it IS in fact a bad lead, is it not? Say I call 'em up after getting the lead from you, I have an assumption that you provided the lead in a reasonable amount of time from the time you received their request for work. But by the time I call, they already have found someone else. One of two things happened: A) They had someone else even before contacting your service, and are wanting to make sure they aren't being ripped off. (which is fine, except I paid $XX for the lead from you and they're wasting my time) or B) You didn't release the lead in a reasonable amount of time and they got tired of waiting (as would I). In scenario A it's obviously not your fault. But should you have asked them if they had another contractor already? Should you require of them, after signing on with you, that they allow a certain amount of time before searching out other contractors? I don't know if it would even do any good, just thinking out loud. Scenario B, I would definately be getting a credit, one way or another.

Steve, you are breaking forum rules. You post above is considered advertising. Especially because you made this declaration in a previous post:
