The company info is on the side of the doors. The bigger advertising catches their eyes then the door tell them who to call.

Re: Vehicle Wraps.. Great?! Or Too Much?

My thoughts....Customer Perception...

If you are bidding against other competition all the time....And generally the customer is going with the lowest number or who they think they get the highest value from....

1. If you are right in there price wise with everybody else.... And you have big fancy new gear vs. the other guy with a old truck...Who do you think has a better chance at getting the job?

2. Customer may also say, well for $100.00 more we can get the guy with the really nice stuff "he must be really good"
- And we all know homeowners don't want to spend alot but they want to say and appear like they hired the best or most expensive.

I usually have been a huge fan of the older, clean truck...(becuase it can be a more profitable way to run your business) But I am starting to see the up side of the high end fancy new trucks...

Take it for what you will.

As a marketing professional for many years in the construction industry the importance of vehicle graphics can never be understated. The mobile and large scale nature of a vehicle make a perfect subject in order to advertise your business.

Just replaced our cab over with a new one. I'm hoping the decals generate a couple leads a month

Re: Vehicle Wraps.. Great?! Or Too Much?

I'm getting ready to letter my van and currently working out my new logo. I had magnets about 10 years ago and never liked them. I have a paperhanger friend who always had a lettered van. He's not sure how many calls came from the lettering, but he always heard "I saw your van downtown yesterday" etc. from customers. He bought a new van and the comments stopped. The comments returned after he had the new van lettered. Like all advertising, it will only generate a call from someone in need of your service. If someone sees your van every morning on their way to work it increases the chances of them calling you, but it may be 2-3 years down the road. Just my 2 cents and it's probably not even worth that!

I saw this yesterday driving to the jobsite. At first, I thought that guy was going to fall out of the van. Then I realized it was a wrap!

Re: Vehicle Wraps.. Great?! Or Too Much?

i think the company logo, phone number and a description of what you do is usually enough as a large decal. as you go you can add more decals to it as the money is there

a buddy of mine owns a hottub store and has a h2 with a full wrap with photos on it. said he couldnt get this kind of decal done locally so he had to take the h2 to ottawa to get it done and it was over $6000. a bit much for my blood

Yes. Most of our work is greater Johnson County. We've had some nice customer comments on the new truck

I use one now. It is expensive but the vehicle is seen from miles away. We get tons of comments. The hard part is trying to put an ROI on it. I have to decide within 6 months to do again or not.

I DID THE SAME SEATS IN MY BOX VAN HELLYEA!!!!
