Talking Job Signs

More accurately searched for as Yard Signs, in case you are interested.

Has anybody ever heard of someone using a “Talking Job Sign.”

If you have a job site that allows you to post a job sign, maximize this marketing opportunity.

Post a 24-hour access phone number on your job sign or an AM0 frequency to dial into and listen.

The phone number can be used to answer any questions that passers by may have, if you have someone live at the other end.

Or, you can have a pre-recorded message about the project and your company.

Include in the prerecorded message interesting facts about the project where the sign is displayed.

Include information that makes it easy to contact you for further discussion.

Include your Website address.

Has anybody ever considered this concept, similar to what realtor's sometimes do with their real estate signage?

I need to edit and fix these other links, but if you shorten them to just the first section before it repeats, that should do the trick.

<a href="http://www.talkinghouse.com/newweb/" target="_blank">http://www.talkinghouse.com/newweb/</a>

And here is one that sends text messages to cell phones, if the phone user enters a code.

I found this by clicking through one of the links and it said, "Builders Click Here".

Hi Ed The Roofer!

Ed I am going to check out the signs after I get this new software I just recieved for putting voice and video on our web site.

I am in the process of a redo of web site and I am shooting some video on job sites and some testomonials from clients to put on the web.

This is exciting stuff and I have our magazine up to 24 pages now and it is at the printer. This is the spring addition. I will send you a copy when I get it back.

Well thank you very much. I will definitely look forward to a copy of your magazine.

Maybe you should start a thread on the logistics and costs of putting a piece like that together, unless you have any competitors on here. If that is the case, make it a private e-mail to those that are interested.

I also just found out this morning about a type of sign that has bluetooth access. It will contact someone driving by to see if they want a download of a brochure.

The cost of the radio sign is about $ 650.00 each with price breaks for 3 or more.

What is the software you are using to put your voice and video on your website?

Here is another product that sort of does the same or similar thing.

http://www.blueflyers.com/pricing.cfm

It sends out messages to Blue Tooth enabled passer-bys and also to an FM frequency.

I included the link with the price page first and then you need to check out the Products section.
