Street Signs

Anyone have any online company recommendations or places to avoid?

I did a search and found a thread about truck lettering with a couple links which I will check out.

Looking for a company that offers layout help / advice and not 'cheap' looking. Also of coarse, I want it for nearly nothing.

You were not very informative about what you were looking for.

Title: Street Signs???

Then you go on about discussing truck lettering and needing help with layout designs.

What, precisely are you looking for?

Yard Job Signs?

Truck Vinyl Signs or Magnetics?

Vehicle Wraps?

So far, you have really not given a clue.

Thats exactly what I thought from the title.

He probably has his e-mail alert set to one week, so it will be a while before he knows to respond.

Yes, yard signs I guess would be more appropriate. I am in Warren which is in the northwest corner. (Litchfield County)

I don't have any kind of alert set. I had given up on checking this thread after a day or so until I saw someone bring it up again.

I have never advertised but obviously need to get the word out now that things have slowed so dramatically. I just called about rates for fliers added to my local news paper. They seem pretty reasonable. A couple months ago, they started putting (easy to peel off) stickers on the front page of the paper which irked the **** out of me but it's nearly impossible not to read them before removing them so I can read the headlines. Plus, it's fairly new that they are doing it so that is a benefit, I think.

There is a minimum rate of $1725 and that's for 10,000. I can limit it to my town and the surrounding ones which have less than that many subscribers so it would go out more than once for that price.

Re: Street Signs

I guess that I will just have to accept the fact that I am the retarded one.

What does that say about your communication skills and intelligence level though?

You obviously are too obtuse to even know that my first post was trying to help you out and see what direction you wanted your responses to be in. Your original message surely did not get the point across.

Lets Review:

DUH!!!

"Street Signs"

Nobody comments to such an eloquent topic.

Hey, " thanks for the help, guiz"

What did you figure would happen when you do not know how to ask a question and then when someone tries to assist you, the best you can do is try to insult them.

Your Gracious Response In Thanks Of My Intent To Assist Your Topic Along:

"Sorry grump ass."

I don't think I need to add any more to this. You quite masterfully battled wits and won.

Now, I hope you find the Street Sign you are looking for.

Re: Street Signs

Thanks for the help, ed. You are a wise and mighty internet warrior. It would be wise to avoid any further battles with one who holds such a masterful rein on the English language. After I get my street signs made, I hope to land enough work to enable me to travel to your area and thank you in person.

Re: Street Signs

Dammit, let this thread die after this please.

That outer banx guy (obxdeck) is actually the guy who told me about this place. We are e-pals on another site where the forum page is called sh%t talking, and you don't have to use the percentage sign. It's pretty harsh over there and I hadn't yet settled in here when I spouted off like that.

I'm sorry Ed.
