Sky The Limit?

Local paper ran a story yesterday about a local company that is marketing a cloud making machine! They are a comany that supples man-made snow for some resorts. They also have a machine that blows smoke ring like circles. The biggie is they can shape these clouds into logos! They can hover at 500 feet or 20'000 feet, keep their shape and bounce off building. Can be produced every few seconds. I think the aricle said they already have a contract with Disney. Presidential candidates and ball arena are also inquireing. Rental is 42500 per day. They eventually dissapate and supposedly eco friendly due to the helium and oxygen mix, but travel for miles. If this thing is for real, I am amazed at the potential of a product such as this. Heheh, they say the sky is the limit. Thought this would be interesting to pass on.

P.S. The picture in the paper was an apple shaped cloud with a bite out of it. They say later they will be able to add color to the logos. Talk about big ideas!

P.S.S. Wonder if the ufo sightings will go up in the near future. Heheh, can you imagine?

Re: Sky The Limit?

i thats kinda a neat idea for sure. I have seriously been considering getting all my kites with my web address on all of them. year round, particularly during jersey shore summer rental season, me and my bros are literally exposed to millions of prime target customers with eyeballs on us. (mainline shoobies, jersey and pa guys know what I'm talking about). if and when I pull the trigger with this, I'll prolly radically shift gears from the type of work I'm doing now to higher volume production work. this is part one of a 3 part marketing and growth stratagy (that and free grab bars) i have visioned for the upcoming years. I am trying to get the entrepeneur and technician to wake up the sleeping giant(manager) within

always getting approached by a dozen or so people when we get off the water and hanging around after a sesh, have some waterproof cards in my pocket in conjunction with big bilboard flappin on the beach, than "beach lead" goes to the hip flash site with "stoked" playing, while rekindling warm summer thoughts of family vaca, hunny, lets built that deck, talk about branding and brand recognition

Re: Sky The Limit?

Remember how those air planes hovering the Atlantic beaches with flying banners have caught ALL beach-goers eyes rolling? That's must be expensive ads flying!??

Better yet, now you just stand on a small boat or mini-jet scooters driven by friend on Atlantic shores, while one hand holding strong to that high-flying colofurl "kites" bannering your company logos high top... for all of us lying on da sand ...to see and jot down your company name/numbers!?? ..Ideas sounds good??..

A FREE, & cheap advertising/marketing plane under gloomy cloud sky!..

Re: Sky The Limit?

I have to wonder if the man-made clouds bounce of building and continue their way in the air currents, if radar will pick them up ( surely not). If radar picks them ( at high altitude), then I wonder what military applications there may be. If they could use air filled tanks in ww11, I don't see why they couldn't use air filled "planes" for a diversionary tactic if the wind currents are right. I am interested in seeing what becomes of this.

Interesting theory. Or those color/shaped clouds could be used as "communication" means for military (like Morse codes). Radars picked up those cloud "patterns/shapes", interpreting those secret codes sent by military... (as ready to strike or bombing terrorists, etc.).

Yep. Or maybe it could made to appear an air attack from one direction while the real attack comes from another. I was telling my wife I thought maybe the defense department might should look into it. I have seen documentaries about how the allies used air-filled tanks and such to fool the Germans. From the air they looked real.
