Which Show To Do?

We have two "home" shows a year here. Flower & patio show & a regular home show. I was wondering which would be a better bang for my buck. At this point in time I can't foresee being able to afford both. It'd be almost $8,000. If I can afford it when it rolls around, I will do both.

The home show would get more traffic I feel, but it's everything for the home & yard, very broad market. The flower & patio show would be more of my target market (& the booths are a little cheaper!).

Thanks for the input,
Dan

Re: Which Show To Do?

Dan, you might want to check with the flower show to see if they will let you in. Some of them charge a little more for "off theme" booths in order to prevent the flower show from turning into a home show. Some of them will also limit the amount of "off theme" people by category, for example one life insurance guy, one storage shed company. I tried to get into one this year claiming that I sell garden windows to put flowers in and they told me to buzz off.
