Printed Magnetic Business Card Sized Gift Card Refrigerator Magnets

From my YP thread, if I am going to do some version of that letter and enclose a Gift Card that remains visible, I am going to need a viable source for getting these acquired and printed.

I will be checking with Kieth of KBX GraphicX to see if he handles this in house, but I want a one stop shop for the volume purchase.

Quantity will be 1,000 to 2,000 as my first 2 test mailings with these included and I expect to send out at least 10,000 or more if the campaign has some merit to the results, based on the higher cost to send these out.

Think of Jesse's Gift Cards and then have something similar on a refrigerator magnet, printed with the current discount.

Thanks SLS,

I would hope that it can all be handled, magnet supply stock, printing, mailing, list acquisition all from the same source.

From one previous conversation with Keith, he does not have a mail house setup to handle the majority of this work tough, so I need a low cost for a high volume, (In My Opinion), amount of relatively expensive mailers.

Also, the weight factor has to be considered for postage too.

Keith simply does the graphics & uploads them. As I recall someone stated he has used them in the past. Most local places around here - actually send their stuff to them & have it sent back in plain boxes. They do offer Mailing services, but I haven't used that. Good luck & let us know how it goes

These magnets, already priced with the printing are WAY Less Expensive than I used to pay from a Marketing Specialties Company years ago, (dang-it, Right before our area code changed for the 2nd time).

http://www.3-mag.net/3mag/scripts/pr...c=0&scroll=Yes

$0.1073 cents each, based on a large quantity, but only $0.1650 when even done with smaller runs of 1,000.

edit:
A Vista Print ad just popped up and even they are not that badly priced.
QtyPrice 1000 $167.00

Just a quick Google Search for,

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q...=Google+Search

Lots of other ones I have not checked out yet, so there is No Referrals from me about any of them, yet.

Jessee, how does that Magnet pricing and size compare to your gift card pricing, just out of curiosity? I think your gift cards were larger than the magnets that are business card sized.

What does your magnet look like. I don't think you can get much of a magnet for 10 cents.

We get the 5 x 7 magnet calendar from China for about 8 cents. Maybe 10 cents each with shipping. These are very useful and we actually get about 100 requests for the calendars every year. I posted the address in China a long time ago. They take about 12 weeks to get, but the calendars are much more useful and impossible not to see on a refrigerator every day. They are very handy for sticking on a computer, etc. These calendars use to cost 75 cents each in this country.

Here is a picture of the calendar.

Sorry. I read this wrong and thought you asked why someone would order 1,000.

I would not order a pizza from vista print.................if you do order from them make sure you check your CC statement every month.

They put a monthy charge on my CC without my permisson hoping I would not notice, was a real pain to get them to remove it.

There quality was nothing to write home about. We use a local small business American company for our design needs and printing as well, maybe someday when we paint houses in China I will give them some business.

They hit me with that as well. So I called my CC company and they were NOT unaware of this crap and fixed it IMMEDIATELY!

I then received an apologetic letter from VP.

.I still get 250 Free Cards a Month!!!!.

The prices were about the same, with the Dollar Imprint place being just slightly cheaper in the mass quantity volume purchases.

That is like comparing the "Dollar Store" garbage bags to "Contractor Clean Up Bags"!!!

I think we paid $60 for a thousand b-cards and the same for g-cards. I'm scared to death to buy magnets online from a strange company without a referal. The Vista Print stories are the perfect reason why - even though they are quite well known. In my experience their quality also sucks.

Yeah, Keith was using Overnightprints and I believe he now uses gotprint.com. Have you looked at their prices?

Ed - please make sure you post pics of them when you decide. I would like to hear further about your experience with them. I have always been leary about magnet purchases online as well...
