Re: Print Your Own T-shirts?

those look pretty cheasy
we did them for the next door neighbors kid's birthday
but I wouldn't dare put my company name on them.
You wash them once and the stuff starts to peel off.

You may want to get one bright yellow shirt and maybe make a charlie brown stripe across it, with "I'm the new guy" printed on back, and give it to your newest gopher.

You can get silk screen printing on shirts for pretty cheap.
Last time we bought them for $4.00 each for the shirt and logo/name print on front.

It's great for fun things like kids stuff. But not professional at all. If you trim it really well with scissors it will look great. Then, after the first wash it's faded. 2 or 3 washes and it becomes a rag.

Re: Print Your Own T-shirts?

I agree with the others. We used them to make t-shirt favors for my son's birthday party and they were fine but the quality is definitely not good enough for business shirts.

Re: Print Your Own T-shirts?

I'll disagree with the rest. If you have a simple logo I think they work great for work shirts. I wouldnt wear them on an estimate but for actually wearing them for work or to outfit a crew you can't go wrong. I wore them all last year and starting this. The logo is still very recognizable. I just made up a batch of long sleeve T's that I bought at Wal-mart for $3 apiece. I get 10 logos from each sheet of transfers. I paid $15 each shirt for the same logo professionally screenprinted, and cringed every time I wore them to work or gave them to my guys.

Re: Print Your Own T-shirts?

My Tee Shirts run $5 each, Does not pay to do the transfer as I can't but tee shirst for $5. unprinted. Add the Ink, Transfer and Shirts and Time and you are way over $5.00 with that kit. So unless you are only printing ONE or OR Two, Don't do it.
