Pay Per Call Ads
I started to use a pay per call on-line ad company. They list my company and when people call their 800#, the calls are forwarded to me. Each call cost me $2.00 which seems like a very cheap price for a lead. The company name is Ingenio.
My questions: Does anyone know of other companies that offer this service? & Does anyone have any luck with this type of service? |

Re: Pay Per Call Ads
There is nobody who could dispute $2.00 a viable lead is dirt cheap, bordering on ridiculous. So how legit are the leads? Doesn't seem to add up to me. Are they just sending you 100 crap calls for you to get 2 appointments?

Re: Pay Per Call Ads
I have received 2 calls, both from people in FL that want to pay their rent. I think the 800# belonged to a rental place. The service was prompt about refunding the calls. My ad has been up for 2 or so weeks and just these two calls.

Re: Pay Per Call Ads
So, can you use that 800 number, yourself, in your advertising? Or is it a generic 800 # with an extension assigned to you? I understand that this company is going to make an effort to populate the web with that number, but I'm just wondering otherwise. Two bucks a call sounds very expensive to me. I looked into getting my own 800 number once, and it was only like a dime a minute.

Re: Pay Per Call Ads
No, the 800# is just a routing number, you see a 800# you call it and it rings on my phone. It is just a way that they can count how many times to charge me $2.00.
