Opinions Of Zig Zigglar?

I've heard his name mentioned but have never researched any of his information. He's going to be conducting a seminar here locally in 2 weeks. Is it worth going?

I own a bunch of his cd's and would recommend them to anyone including Humble Abode. I really connected with his way of thinking and it has helped me during a sale and in life in general. If you to feel good about yourself and the sales process give him a try. The bookstores sell his audio cds which are great when your driving to appointments.

I would love to see him in person before his time comes.

I went to a seminar about 6 months ago that included Zig Ziglar, Tom Hopkins, Rudy Giuliani, Suze Orman, and others. Absolutely a great seminar.

zig's the man,definitly go see him if you've got the chance he is great live and will teach you alot about what you already know! the man a legend. humble abode ought to go as well sounds like he could use a little zig in his life

If I only had one word to describe the mans style of orating, it would be "Inspirational!"

But, I have the freedom of typing much more, so blah,blah,blah...

Just kidding. I have listened to his cassettes for years. I suscribe to his weekly e-mail newsletter. I feel invigorated anytime I hear the man discuss his philosophy on business principles, which from his perspective, is not really about business. It is about life! It is about setting and planning and achieving goals!

His speech mannerisms will be a welcome touch to any "Southerner" and his humble methods attract even the most aggressive personality types.

GO, AND TREASURE THE OPPORTUNITY! He is getting older and take advantage of listening to his gifted story telling in person while you have the chance.

When and where is the speaking engagement? If I can, I would make the drive just to hear him in person. No ifs ands or buts about it.

Zig is "the original" sales trainer. All other since are just Zig wannabees.

I must admit that I'm surprised that he's still alive. I've got some old Betamax tapes from the mid 80's of his, and he looks old in those.

Brian Flanagan who worked for Zig and is now on his own is almost an exact copy of Zig.

Yes, but don't expect him to do it about your business. It's more about yourself personally, your personal relationships, your business relationships and so on, basically life in general. It's up to you to apply what he gives you to everything in your life, which would include your business.

Zig has some of the "nicest" closing techniques to hard close people without ticking them off. He's got a nice mix of southern hospitality and charm mixed with the hard sell.
