Not sure what you're saying. And what do you mean by "though where a new company I have been around the block."? Where is "where?

Re: Online Portfolios

Hi Adam,

I agree, it'd be nice to have a clearer question from you. Checked out your website gallery and its looks like you want to re-work it.

My suggestion is to use an image gallery manager. My personal website has a good example. I can't post links yet, so follow the signature link My Professional Portfolio, click the Professional Header link, click the VP Supply link, to see what I'm talking about.

It uses the Joomla Content Management System, with the SmoothGallery + Lightbox component add-on. I found it really easy to set up and customize. If you're website is a static web page, I suggest moving it over to a free CMS like Joomla.

In your particular case it looks like you do remodeling work mostly in tiling and concrete? If yes, before and after pictures of company projects would be helpful to highlight the transformation Plus it'd be great if you included client testimonials along with these examples.

Picture quality is another issue. It'd be best to hire a professional to take some shots of your work. If you're on a budget you could a hire a graphics design student from a local college to take the photos.

I hope these suggestions help.
