I was actually going to ask if one needs to have a more classy logo to market the higher class people. Also if one needs to have Remodeling or Construction in the name instead of Services. What would be more attractive to higher class people.

if you are talking about a slogan.. i could not come up with one that was not tacky.

That is what i was going for. i am young and have no one to guide me. so i guess i will see how it works.
my crew will have polo shirts with the logo on it, im sure it will help on the first impression..

Logo should be memorable that's it. Don't see a logo crossing class/market lines

A company name is a whole different ball game you want your name to capture the market you want and tell the public what you do and how much you do it for.

I am steal this one but which name says what?

Might just be a location thing, but I didn't realize it was not Houston, Tx until you said something. Logo is very nice, but your name is not revealing what you do. Then again, neither does Midas, Macco and hundreds of other names. That is where the Tag Line comes into play. LNG, other than Liquid Natural Gas is worthless. LNG Contracting says it all.

So to me, I would look at changing Services to something else. Houston's Remodeling, Houston's Contracting, etc. If you stay with Houston's Services then you MUST use a tag line. Even Houston's Home Services.

OK, my two cents, now its back to you. Oh! One last thing, make sure the colors you use are easily reproduced on things like business cards, letterhead, tee shirts, your trucks. Failure to pay attention to this detail could be VERY costly in the long run. Though, from looking at it right now, I think you are golden in that area.

OK, there was another. If you are incorporated, an LLC or Partnership, you must include this in your logo. ie: Inc, LLC etc. Failure to do this one little thing can leave you personally vulnerable in a lawsuit. People MUST know they are dealing with a corporation in order for you to personally be protected.

looks pretty good, the only thing I would say is remove the bevel from the dark brown. then it would look equally good in just black and white. IMO, That logo is better than 80% of them that I have seen. Business name is a little vague. Does that mean, Houston's do anything you will pay me too?
