New Business Development/ Sales Question!
I live in Western NY, and have been doing landscaping/hardscaping for the past 5-6 years. I recently have been offered a job with another company to generate new leads, and actually go out and bid/estimate/sell these new jobs. i have about 2 years of sales experience but never within this type of industry (i'm generalizing it as the 'construction' industry). They are offering a pretty decent yearly wage plus 4% on sales that I generate and nail.
I guess I'm wondering if this sounds like a good deal, as I really have a small clue of what is going on. Please respond! |

Re: New Business Development/ Sales Question!
The first thing you need pictures or a portfolio of work. With out it you will be scowled upon. Dont take this job unless you get more commission And try to develop leads on your own whithout the help of the company. You can demand more money!!!! Its America remember.
