Hey Everyone, Here is my postcard proof from Keith @KBK ( he is good) tell me what you think. I have added a call to action at the bottom.

Thanks for your feedback.

The 'wood' pattern doesn't do it for me...otherwise, they'll work.

It is my logo, but it is kind of overwhelming. Maybe I will see if he can change the colors

Well, I like your logo-but the message in it should be crystal clear so folks can recognize it. As it stands, it's just too busy for the eyes...I would just go with a solid dark brown color/light brown for your lettering...shows more nicely...

Good Luck.

I think it looks great, Keith does great work.

I never cared for "discounts" on service work that prices that have yet to be determined. But if it works, it works.

Andy.

Re: Need Helpful Insight On My Post Cards

I would change the coupon part.

1500 off a 10,000 service.

Just put 1500 off and "ask for details" or "call for details"

you want them to call you, or let you in the house to give them the details so you can make the sale. Just let them know you can save them $1,500 but don't give them the details on the promo on your coupon/flyer.

15% off? If you don't mind me asking why 1500 not say 500 or 750? Answer to yourself, if something runs over - either material or time will you still have money left or are you losing money?

To much brown IMHO - I would think about moving the two pictures on the left over to the right maybe to help offset the linear feeling...

Hey I played with it for about 10 min. Instead of that wood border up at the top coming across I would do a tile mosiac strip. I think that wood reminds me of panel board ( I just pulled off a ton in my basement) it is cool for the writing of your business though! And that blue to me is too... I dunno the word.

The special offer needs to have a closing. When running a promotion, you want to spark curiosity, intrigue them enough to call you about it. "Special Offer" tells them nothing.

You'll see it on marquee's all the time "20% off, come in to ask how!"

Mock up the post card, to drum up new business, what can you offer these customers? What's NEW for your business? Why are you sending the card to them? Offer them something to strike interest.

These guys like to take apart other peoples ads.

http://www.mymessentials.com/crum_ame

Whether you buy their analysis or not, they do reveal things about ads that you may not have considered.

I have listened to their 2-cd set but not their 10-cd set.
