Re: Mall Set-ups

I've tried it. We once set up in Yorkdale, which has the highest traffic of any Mall in Ontario. Over 3 days we got about 5 leads.
I personally don't think it's worth it. However, I've seen the same people over and over again in various different malls over the years so i guess for them it worsk. you'll have to try and see.

Re: Mall Set-ups

There is a comapny around here that has a non-manned stand for windows and another one that does kitchen refacing. They have been in the same location for many years and I have run into jobs they have done...... And they are not a local company. So..... I would think that manning a stand 10 hours a day , 7 days a week would be very expensive and time consuming.

One of the problems I see with malls is that when they are really busy, such as just before X-mas, the consumers mind is on something other then HOme Improvement. They have all this money going out and don't think of doing something on the house.

Maybe if a guy had a quick set up display, he could ask what the busy weekends were during the year other then the x-mas rush.... Just set-up on those wekends.
