Looking To Expand In Nearby Towns

Looking to expand into nearby cities. I am in central Texas so "nearby" is only 20 min drive. I understand word of mouth and referral business is number one but when looking to get your name out in other unknown areas what is the best approach?

Yes I know I am a newbie to this site and am quite aware of the looks I am already getting but let's move on. I am thinking about target marketing. I feel the person most likely to remodel would be a middle aged educated woman with some decent salary ( obviously she is married but seems like she would be the one pushing her husband to get some crap done around the house).

We are strickly looking to sale kitchen remodel, bath remodel, and room addtions. The key is to find these women and market to them any ideas? Am I on the right track with thinking this is the group to market to? Honest answers appreciated

Re: Looking To Expand In Nearby Towns

Try direct mail with filters set for any or all of your "projected" audience. Contact a printer or direct mail advertiser and take it as far as your wallet can go. We have used mailers for the past 7 years with amazing success. A 5000 piece mailing spread over 5 weeks gives me enough leads to fill my nights with estimates in boom times and in these times I get enough to make it worthwhile.
