Just wondering if anybody list there companies on other types of Forums. I seen the post about listing your company on Craigslist. Is there any forums out there for Home Owners other then DIY forum here?

If you google homeimprovement forums you will find a bunch. I belong to a bunch of them so when a homeowner googles my company name they will see a bunch of listings. I use a different name here so they can't read my post.

When I searched for NEPA Home Improvement I found a Forum for P.A. that you could list your company and answer questions home owners may have. This looks promising

Max, those types of forums are golden. Linkbacks from relevant sites like Nathan's are a huge help with google ranking.

so i get on this forumand all i see is this guy saying how good his shucco windows are. this is the same guy that tells customers they should pay between $275.00 -$500 for a window installed. heck 275 sign me up! and then i says, some companies may be more just because you don't have overhead doesn't mean another company doesn't as weel , and he says he is retired window man but still has great knowledge of the profession, so i says, how can you tell people what they should pay for a window. unless there your customer. then i explain the reason i don't deal with shucco is because the frames eat up to much glass. then the guy post pictures showing the differenceces in frame sizes and shows my window to be 1/2 " bigger than shuccos and its not . so wheres the golden in these sites? its the guy who gets to tout his own product with no competetion. then his true colors come out when they get caught and all they can do is lie!

Thats one bad thing about these sites. You have to take what you read with a grain of salt.

i hear ya pressure. but i would think they would want to tell the truth! i believe someone here is also there under a different name. what are your thoughts on the schuco windows?
