Lead Tracking Software - What do you use?

Can you recommend lead tracking software?

We get leads from a variety of sources, then they are distributed to salesmen. We need something better than the spreadsheet we are currently using.

Thanks.

I use Highrise, a web-based CRM.

Find it at highrisehq.com

We use MarketSharp and have for over 10 years. We are extremely happy with it. Not only can we track our leads, we can generate many different types of reports such as lead source, lead by salesman, etc. We also keep a prospects database which we use to mail around jobsites, among other things. There is a module for customer information, too. We can pull up either a past customer or a job we did for a past customer in a couple of keystrokes.

I also use MarketSharp.

You can also use it track your cost per lead and cost per sale for a variety of lead sources.

You have your accounting system set up to track how much you are spending on different lead sources you can take that info and enter it into MarketSharp.

You can get reports out of MarketSharp that will break it down by Primary Lead source ands Secondary Lead source.

For example you can track what your cost is for Direct Mail as whole and also compare postcards to letters.
