Lead Management Software

Ok, I have read most all of the posts regarding Marketsharp Software on this forum. Here is what I want to do. I send out a newsletter monthly to past clients, past leads, friends, anyone who signs up. I also want to start generating a client management marketing campaign that sends letters out for birthdays, anniversaries, inspection notices, maintenence notices, etc. I also inspect a ton of commercial roofing systems for hail/wind damage and when none is found submit a 'no hail' letter for their file. I have over 300 past inpsections that I want to start contacting for new inpsections, maintenance, etc. When a storm event hits a certain area, I want to be able to pull up those people by city and shoot them a notification letter that we will be scheduling their inspection.

Currently I have no other salesmen except myself and my father. This will most likely change but I don't anticipate going back to a 10 man salesforce as I have had in the past. That being said, I don't need a lot of sales management stuff. Just client contact managment that will remind me to print a letter every so many months, etc. and allow me to group print by category or group.

I have the premier version of UDA, but haven't taken the schooling. I also have QB Customer Manager and am demoing Quality One's Sales Development Software. (which I kind of like)

Please help

This software can be customized to do whatever you want it to do. I'll make the changes for free. I can add a field for birth dates and you can print a mailing list for specific periods, personalized letters, etc.

PCPlumber:

Thanks for the link. I actually now remember you posting this some time back. It didn't pull up in my forum search, so I hadn't remembered. I know that you have received a couple thank you's from the members here and there for all you contribute, but let me say it again....THANK YOU. You are one of the very few businessmen who are willing to divulge more than just their thoughts to their peers and you should be commended for that. BTW, can your accounting system be easily converted to more general contracting services or is it strictly a flat rate type or hourly based system.

Re: Lead Management Software

We use SugarCrm. The Free Editon (CE) or also known as Community Edition is a free system which will do everything you said and it will also do it from your mobile phone. so you can just add contacts while you drive.

We use professional eddition, it allows us to do everthing that Quickbooks does in addition to CRM.

With this system you can merge right into work, print any mailing lists. But for us most importnat is ability to send email newletters and notices. It also tracks who read them, and if they respond or not by going to your web site.

It is a bit technical to setup, but once you up and running this is the best tool on the market.

We have ours configured for full customer lyfecycle. From Lead to Prospect to Quote to COntract then if they schedule service call or work it links all of it together.

Lastly we have it linked to an Outbound IVR (angel.com), when appointment is scheduled the system automaticaly calls customer to inform them when technician is scheduled to be there, or if he is running late.

With this system you can do as little or as much as you like and unless you are replacing quickbooks it is free.

Re: Lead Management Software

I am no techie, so from a quick glance, it looks like that ZOHO is pretty simple to use for Customer Relations Management.

What is involved in setting up either of the systems discussed?
