We are starting to ramp up the number of homes we are building and I'm looking to create a better jobsite sign frame for branding, marketing and permits.
What do you use? I'd like to create something that is modular and can be easily transported and assembled. A frame that can hold our company logo, an image of the home being build and a docbox.
I have used the steel frames like realtors use and had a sing shop put my info on them in vinyl. You can buy them in bulk with the metal sign insert prtty cheap. If you're looking for something bigger or better, your a GC,build them and show some of your talent.
I am planning on fabricating them myself, I just thought I would see what other people are doing. No sense in trying to reinvent the wheel if someone has come up with a good model.
my current plan is to use steel plates as feet with 2 aluminum channel columns.
Really nice. I've got a ton of yard signs but those cheap little wire stands don't last for crap. I've been trying to come up with a light weight sign holder that also shows off some skill.
I got a amazing deal on some new yard signs. A sign company was taking these down yesterday and I inquired about purchasing a few from them and they gave the to me free. [emoji106]
Just a mock up on the 6x6 probably going to mount then on 4x4 instead
Any jackass can kick a barn down, but it takes a Carpenter to build one
We just got our job signs and I was thinking about this too. I thought of mabey taking a cedar 2x4 and cutting a channel into it then making that into a sort of picture frame and putting plexiglass in to protect the sign. Then mounting it on a decent looking cedar post (or posts)
Still thinking about something more creative though...
