Honestly, I think it is a waste of time.

If the user has already bookmarked your site, they are obviously interested in your company.

Go to the farovites list. Scan the list of maybe twenty, maybe one hunred and twenty. Find the little yellow hard hat, didn't take long did it, then look at all those other ones that have no favicon, and ask your self why you have not cleaned it up in awhile. It is the same logic we put tabs on folders, ease of navigation.......If you have ten contactors in your favorite file, the favicon is faster to pick up on then the name. Branding......

Re: Intoduce A Favicon

Well considering, I just went through my favorites list and all but 7 have favicons, explain to me why it would help again?

BTW- I have over 300 bookmarks.

Branding......why bother with cards, hats and logos if you can not at least put you logo in front of the name of your buiness. I would know that a big spinning out of control C would belong to lets see...I have it on the tip of my tongue.....CO...L....sorry only know the keystriker by the logo.....oh yeh did I mention Branding..
I agree some favicons are not legiable. But I know in my favorites every government site has a flag and the big orange box is HD, and the blue Y looking thing, that is someone who who pays alot of peoples bills. Branding....Trucks, signs, employees, websites, cards, letter head....and on...and on..
