Internet On-Site Invoicing Software?

I have been seriously considering acquiring some sort of internet software that would allow me to better track my field reps and also allow them to do on-site invoicing. I checked into a product named Prolinq by Interlinq Solutions because it doesn't require a huge initial investment, but wanted to know if anyone is currently using any other web-based job-tracking software in their business? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

We are using Quick Books online version and really like it.

Google Calander, Documents and Gmail have also helped stream line things using the net.

I just got on Quick Books website. Which Quick Book version do you recommend for the small/med size contractor? I don't want to spend a lot at this time. Thanx for the advice.

Re: Internet On-Site Invoicing Software?

I can not give an honest opinion on what is best because I am not QB literate. I only use the invoice and estimate portions of the software and have not taken the time to learn the rest.

I do like the on line version over 2006 Pro because of the ability to use it on line from any computer anywhere. It is always updated and backed up automatically as part of the service......it also has a low upfront cost. I cannot remember how much it is costing per month but you probably saw that when you visited the site.

We can have up to 3 people working with it at no extra charge - unlike the 2006 Pro and other versions that we were using.

I hope this helps some.

Just an FYI, Quickbooks has regional training classes that last from 1-4 days.

Also some of the JLC shows have Quickbooks training.

Also people will actually come to your office/home to train you on how to use the program.

Re: Internet On-Site Invoicing Software?

I wrote a little computer program to keep up with a checkbook over 15 years ago. I had named it quickbooks. I never did anything with it. I wish I had copyrighted the name. LOL
