has anyone used this company to help position their website? They look OK at first glance but would like to hear some real feedback.

$299/month for a company to get you in Google Local?
this is something your granmother can do for free
If that was an organic search marketing company it would be a good deal.

I'm trying it now...
When I bought this, I told the guy I'd give him a couple months since I only need 1 decent sized job to make it worth it. Basically, they swore up and down that it works.... even showed me some guy that works for them that used to work for Disney or something. "Type in ' SEO expert' in google and the first guy who comes up is our guy." I don't know if you can do this yourself, but if this guy really works for them, why not? they got me everything they said they would... Even a customer! LOL So, for me it was worth it. I hope this helps.

iLocalsem Is a Scam
Don't use this company. They are absolutely a scam. They used to be called Reliable Listing and changed their name to iLocal Sem to try and hide from their previous business practices. Go ahed and Google Reliable Listing and you'll see what I'm talking about. Their sales representatives will tell you what ever they need to so they can get your credit card. Don't give it to them!!!!

I wasn't sure about this company either but I gave them a shot and they moved me up to the front page and have kept me there. I have been getting more business since signing up so I think they are worthwhile!

I worked with iLocalSEM and it really worked!!!
At first I did not know if it was going to work for me, but after about 45 days, I started getting some business. The sales guys said that it would take about 30-45 days to start seeing my ad on the front page. I called into their customer service number and they even gave me some free upgrades for free and a tracking number to track every call. I have searched for lots of businesses that claim to do the same thing but none of them have worked. I'm glad that i'm not working on trying to get my business to the top any more. Its exhausting. I read some of the other posts and they said that this is easy and anyone can do it. Well, i have looked and looked to try to do this my self and even tried it but after about a year, i decided to pay iLocalSEM. After 45 days, I'm at the top and tracking my results.

I have dealt with my own fair share of SEO and SEM companies. Most are complete BS. Many don't do as promised. And a few good ones are very $$$. Tho I have one that I like now... and it took alot of research (and dumb tax) to find them. Rule #1: You will not find a good SEO or SEM company promoting them selfs in a forum post!

I hate these people
I used to work for this company and I hate seeing them take people's money so much that I needed to sign up here and say something.
They know NOTHING about SEO marketing. The owner is just a reseller of a ****ty product.
You have no idea how many of my clients called to cancel their services after only weeks because of either what they saw online or from word of mouth of how bad they are.
Not to mention the many cancellations and angry customers who wasted hundreds of dollars and didn't show up on the front page at all.
Their sales strategy is overly aggressive and at times rude.
They pay their employees poorly and only care about making the most sales possible. Not necessarily a scam but they just don't know what the hell they are doing. Empty promises just to take your money.

They are a total scam! I never received a copy of the invoice, the phone numbers they provide don't work from Canada, so I can't even dispute the charges, AND if you do a search on Google maps for those addresses on their contact page, there is no listing for a company name iLocal in any of those buildings. They don't exist! They also use another name -- Relevant Ads -- which is supposedly located in Fountain Valley, CA. It's actually a UPS Store post office box! There is no Relevant Ads company located in that building! TOTAL SCAM & RIPOFF!

Getting in the Google maps isnt hard but 98% of all business owners dont know they can get there for free. When I have been here long enough to post links, I will share that free info for you guys to use.
As having ran 2 online communities, I always found it funny that when a company is slammed, that brand new members all of a sudden come out of the woodwork to claim they used that company and the results were amazing. Insane, right? And what is a Home Extensioner? Should it not say Home Additions? Talk about obviously being a plant for this ilocal company. Cant the Mods look at the IP addresses of these "suspect" new members? I bet they all are on the same network.
