How Many Do A Newsletter?

Just working on some marketing Ideals and looking for contractors that do newsletters or e-mail newsletters to clients.

How does it work for you and do you keep track of your sales from this?
How many times a month do you send it out?

Do you think you have a better bond with your client because of your newsletter? Thanks

Re: How Many Do A Newsletter?

Would you use specific articles that you write or had someone to write, or would you be using open source type articles.

Also, what would be best;

Generic houshold tips with only one featured article related to your trade

or

A newsletter that stuck more to profiling your companies jobs in progress and problems/solutions

What do people take the time to read?

I just read a letter from Sonny Lykos, who recently passed away and he was doing a newsletter, but since he was receiving little or no feedback on it, he decided to curtail its delivery.

Only then, did he receive feedback, with many consumers wondering what happened to the informative newsletter.

Hi Ed I do a newsletter for our company called Around The House Tips By Glen. Mainly news about everyday things needed to keep up your home. I try to keep it around the current season or holidays. And I plug the company and services we do. I also put in an action Item to get back some response. We also send out surveys online to see the things clients what to here about. It works for us and yes is time consuming but I have it set up on a responder service and that does make it somewhat easier.
