Re: Home Show
Try to be at your booth at all times. Try to set appts on the spot. I don't go for gimmicks (drawings for prizes, spin the wheel). I want serious buyers. Other than that, Make your booth as professional as possible and showcase your work.
Oh yeah, a bowl full of tootsie rolls for the kiddies GOOD LUCK!

Re: Home Show
Good pics (Before & Afters) & some example boards; mock up of finished wainscoting, small scale wall exterior finishes
If you do major restorations - get a really damaged door / clapboard, leave 1/2 of it as is & fill & paint the other 1/2 |

Re: Home Show
Use a Mantle with a lot of detail. I saw a painter do this once and He had painted all of the mantles 7 layers with a different color. It really showed the nice brush strokes, the great edging, and that not everyone can do it.
Also, set up some somall paint brushes for the kids (washable) if the kids play, the parents will stay!
