Re: Home Improvement Time Magazine Feedback

I got your package today. From reading your description of it in earlier postings, it's different then what I was expecting. I was expecting to see advertisements in it from your subs and ads from your product suppliers and coops with your material manufacturers.

The appearance is that it's just Absolute Aluminum in the magazine/advertisement.

I was under the impressions your subs and I think you mentioned other (non-competing businesses) were paying you ad rates to cover all the costs. I didn't see any other phone number or website addresses other than yours.

Are they just paying you and you have an agreement that they will get the work through you or are you somehow passing the leads on to them?

Mike our 2 editions of our magazine is all about our company. We have a 130 employees no subs and the difference between the 2 editions is that the fall one has all our suppliers logo on the page. This is where they paid us $800 to have there product displayed with there logo and story of how we use there product in our company.

My next edition will be 36 pages with the marketing alliances included this time. All I was trying to do is to showcase all our products and services so our clients understood all the work we do.

With our company name would you know we do all this type of work. This is why I came up with the magazine to show case it all. Our sales have went through the roof since we have it out.

So each edition I hope gets better and better. Now if I can just get our website completed. Priceless

Ah, now I see. You threw me for loop on that one, I couldn't figure out exactly how you were doing what I thought you were doing.

I'd definitly be interested in seeing the latest one when it comes out with your new format.

Let us know when you post it on your website, save you some postage.

I'm very interested in seeing how it works with the subs and other businesses. Thanks.

Personally, I think it's one of the nicer pieces I've seen, and I've been involved in the marketing aspect of home-improvements for quite some time. Of course there's the added bonus by having other professionals that do other types of work paying a "fee" for being in the magazine as well, to off-set the type of costs associated with putting a piece like that together...but again, after taking some time to browse the magazine thoroughly, i think how you have it set up is excellent. Articles,..lots of product information/ photos,....the former military personel that you have employed throughout the company...Bottom line, --all the bases are covered...Everything you do and each service you can provide is in there, and everything is directed to YOUR COMPANY.

-All very good stuff.

With the fleet of company vehicles pictured also, you kind of have to think,...This guy Glen obviously knows what it takes to ge tthe phone to ring.

Hat's off again to some great marketing!!

Thank you for the kind words and yes even I am shocked at how much it has worked for us. The boss shakes his head alot and wishes he found me sooner.

Gee does this mean I might get a check soon for my marketing talents? This free stuff is killing me.

Re: Home Improvement Time Magazine Feedback

I received my copy in the mail and was completely blown away. Not just by the magazine, but also by your generousity.

I assume you have these printed in a print shop, but who does your layout? Do you set it up or farm that out also?

Thanks again.I hope to be able to return the favor one day.

Good Luck
Dave

Thanks Dave and I hope it will inspire you and your marketing. I have a real nice girl Susan in Vegas that does all the graphics and layout for me. Let me know if you need her number. She did everything I sent you. Thanks
