Have any of you people who use tracking software ever had trouble with google analytics? I logged into my analytics site and it said it couldnt be detected on my home page. Maybe its my web host I have had problems with in the past.

You probably just didn't put the code in the right place. I've never had any problems with them.

I looked at the code, it looks like it is in the right place. when did you put the code in? It might take 24 hours for it to fully function....but once you get it working it is the greatest thing since sliced bread.

It was working great. As of yesterday I went to check it and it shows nothing saying it can not be detected. I didnt install it, footbridge media installed it. Since I had trouble getting estimate requests in the past while they were hosting, I thought this might be the problem.

I wouldn't think that would be the problem, because Footbridge would have just copied the script and pasted it in your web page.

Are you no longer hosting with Footbridge?

Whats the problem when you submit for an estimate numerous times and it doesnt come through to your email? Now this?

It was working somtimes before and somtimes not. It seems to be alright, fill it out and Ill let you know Cole.

It came through. Has anybody had this problem with analytics before. It had some great history of my site on it.

Did you try the Google analytics help center on the support tab from where you log in to analytics?

I had similar problem and in 5 mins was fixed.

I didnt Matt but I will try. It says the code isnt installed thats why i didnt look there. The code was on there two days ago and I didnt touch it.

When you log into analytics, instead of clicking on "View Reports",
click on "Edit" under the Settings column.
Then click on "Check Status" at the upper right corner.

See if your tracking code that they show you matches what's on your page.
What does the tracking status information say? Is it "recieving data"?
