Wow, those are some awesome and very interesting ideas !!!! Would you be able to share or refer a printing company or any info about getting those yard signs and those coupon books done?
 Any idea what the cost would run and how much I would need to print? For example, for each job you do, how many neighbors do you market for? How much direct mail do you send out?Thanks again....great input! Sevi |

I need to know where you are getting good yard signs that won't blow away for $100 for a thousand of them.
That's 10 cents each. That's a really, really good price. You're paying triple that for a fridge magnet I thought I was doing well at $4.65 each for 200 Am I over paying by $4.55 each sign?

I've done the sign campaign 4 times now. It works well. I don't do it in the volume you guys do it though. We limit it to 100 past customers in the towns we want to work in. (There are towns that I want to work in that won't allow signs without permits to do work) We do it as a contest. The last few times we gave away 12 prizes. one grand prize of $1000, a second prize of $500 and ten 3rd prizes of a $50 gift certificates to a local restaraunt.
This year we will be giving out only one grand prize of an all exclusive cruise to Bermuta plus a $500 gift card. (We have not ever done just one prize before but I think it will work well) We do this in the winter when leads are slower. We put up the signs Nov. 1st and we take them down Dec. 15th (that way the signs are not in my customers yards for Christmas) Without a doubt it brings us leads in Nov. and Dec. when we need them.

You talk about a company that does siding, windows and sunrooms. (that's what we do)
The average sale is drivin down by the windows so my guess is that the average sale is probably between $15k and 20K Let's call it $15K If they had 500,000 customers they would have generated over $7.5 BILLION dollars worth of business. I love your posts and think everything you have to say is GREAT But I'm haveing a little trouble with this part of the post. I also don't know of anyone that could make a good sign and then sell it for a dime. I don't care if you bought a billion of them. The ink costs more than that, never mind the paper and the metal sign stands. Other than the cost of signs,,,,,,,,I love your posts and hope you continue posting. We could use a company like yours in CCN The company you gave me for signs would cost me over a dollar more than I'm paying for 24 x 36 full color signs with holders. That is my point exactly.....The company you just gave me sells the sign stands for 75 cents each but some how you get them for under a dime??????
