You folks may be interested in this free series, which stats off with the Fundamentals of Estimating, by Michael Stone, who is one of the more frequently recommended business coaches.

This Thursday morning, September 4, Michael Stone will present Part 1 of the Fundamentals of Estimating in a free 75-minute online class. Part 2 will be presented on Thursday, September 18.
Michael will cover the basics a contractor needs to know prior to estimating a remodeling job or estimating a new home construction project. These classes will benefit any remodeling contractor, new home builder or specialty contractor. Michael Stone is a popular speaker and teacher who has taught estimating to contractors in 42 different states and in Canada.
These two free classes are planned to be the first in a series on Profitable Estimating, tentatively scheduled for October.
Part 1 will start this Thursday morning at:

8 am Pacific
9 am Mountain
10 am Central
11 am Eastern

and is scheduled to last 1 hour and 15 minutes. If you aren't familiar with online seminars, all you need is an internet connection and speakers. If you have a headset with microphone, or if you call in to the telephone number provided, you will also have the option to ask questions. It really is free, but you must register to attend. After registering, you will receive a reminder notice prior to the class.

Just signed up for it Ed. I have attend a few of them he give really good advice. I did the web and marketing one about a month back it was really good

Your right Ed. Stone is a great coach. He also wrote a great book I recommend for anyone in our business. It's called Markup and Profit.

I talked with him at JLCLive last year. He is good. You have to be very well balanced to make it work from what I can see. I signed up too. i haven't sat through a webinar for a while. I like em!
