Foot Bridge Media
Any opinions on Foot Bridge Media? I am in the process of putting together a website for my remodeling business. I am on a limited upfront budget, but I can afford the $125/month. Just looking for some feedback on the ROI of their services.
Thanks,
Ben

I know a ton of members who have used them for their website services!
I am sure some of them will chime in.

I never heard of Foot Bridge till today. Sounds like alot of money!!! you can host a website at GoDaddy.com for about $9.00 a month and find a ready made website template online for usually under $100... sometimes free.
All you need to do is fill it with your own photos and text and it looks pro.
web site templates
Unless your website needs to be more complex than just an electronic brochure, I wouldn't pay that much for web services. JMO

They offer a very professional package and it will bring you in business!

Thanks for the input. I was using Service Magic as my main presence on the web, but I would like to try to get away from them and move more towards my own internet marketing.

If you read through the posts on Service Magic I think you will find that having them as your main presence is a VERY BAD IDEA

Don't be tempted by a cheap way out, you get what you pay for....unless you overpay. I did my first 2 sites for small money and they generated no leads, what a bargain! My current site brings in 2-5 leads a week, some of the leads come from the site, some for the SEO work and some from me linking the site all over the place. Their are plenty of people here that have footbridge sites ask them how many leads they get a day/week/month. George the painter from Canada is a good one to ask, his website is a lead machine.

Thanks, I keep forgetting if it is "Z" or "V". He's the guy that lives in an iglo up in Canada. Great guy so long as you don't read his post in the P/L area of the forum.

I spoke to Aaron at Foot Bridge and I may not be able to sign up with them because another contractor already uses them in my market. Any other companies/products like foot bridge that you would recommend?

There is another Painter in Canada named George?
Our main website is not done by Footbridge
and it is a lead machine (3-4 a day) even in the winter.
I don't think you can go wrong with Footbridge though,
I don't think they are expensive and contractors using them here get results.

Interesting... I didn't know they limited each area to one contractor.
Well, we have another site sponsor that you could look at called Vision Web Services .

That's a damn good policy! Hopefully he uses it as a selling point--I would.

He said they don't necessarily limit it to one, but they need to get the approval of the other contractor before adding a second. They don't want the conflict of interest when trying to get both of us at the top of the search engines, which I fully understand.

That was one of the biggest reasons I used Footbrigde, now I am a bathroom remodeling contractor and there is another remodeling contractor in my area that signed up with footbridge but they are more windows, additions, kitchens etc including bathrooms.
