Finally Lettered My Truck

The pictures look much better before they are quality is downsized to fit this site. I tried the "night shots" in my warehouse and they did not turn out that great with the flash.

In the past week (before lettering) the number of people with the fence comments has gone through the roof. Soon I'll be known as the fence guy.

Is that a Nissan? I can't tell...

Cool lettering.

Nissan Titan with a full size back seat. Once a year I haul a yard of mulch in the bed, other than that the bed is useless.

I have been debating for the past year on getting a Sprinter and I'll debate for another year.

The lettering cost $450 including the "Scotch Brite" (the shiny stuff at night).

Plazaman, since I like the trailer on job sites I tend to stay away from the city. Nothing worse than having to double park to unload or parking blocks away from the site. I am not shy about charging for the long walks.

"DougChips",

For trying to maintain your "secret identity" on this forum, I don't think you achieved that with the posting of your company name and phone number from the new signage on you trailer.

Other than that, your trailer is a great advertising venue and looks very professional.

Ed

Re: Finally Lettered My Truck

He is a character in a Goethe's play(German).
Mephistopheles is the demon that a scientist sells his soul to in that play.
It could be Greek, Latin or even Hebrew derived.
I think we are seriously side tracked.
This is about the signage, sorry.

Re: Finally Lettered My Truck

The trailer looks like a good Yellow Pages ad.
Hopefuly it is big enough for the neighbours to be reading
from their windows.
as the crew is working in an area.

Actually it was a val-pak ad. Last summer I did the trailer, val-pak and door hangers that all looked the same. The valpak and door hangers got a very poor ROI so the trailer had to pick up the slack.

The trailer only "works" on a job site where people can walk by and read it. If they are shy they can take a brochure and call us later.

That is a seriously cool truck. What's it's tow capacity?

I've always been a Toyota person, but the new Titan has me considering...

Either 9700 or 10,700. I only get about 9mpg when I tow the trailer.
