Favorite Books, Cd's, Gurus
Looking for published stuff to read to improve my salesmanship as well as marketing. What are some of your favorite, books, audio Cd's, gurus that you think helped you in your construction business. they don't have to be specific to the construction business.
Try to break them down into sales vs marketing if possible. Thanks |

I recently finished Tipping Point and am about 3/4's through Blink both by author Malcolm Gladwell. I would recommend both, the first helps explain why some things get very popular the second helps explain human decision making. Each lend themselves to both sales and marketing to some degree.

Jeffrey Gitomer is good, you can get a free weekly newsletter from his website
How to Win Friends and Influence People, by Dale Carnegie, is probably the best book ever written about sales. |

guerrilla marketing series by Jay Conrad Levinson is among my favorite. Showing many untraditional ways to market services.

I would like to say the 2 books I go two more often is by Jay abraham and Chet Holmes they are markting masters when you sell to the retail client.
