Does Your Marketing Change After A Hurricane?

I'm in Houston and wanted to hear your ideas on how you market after a hurricane? For example; my estimates have increased but the jobs haven't yet because people are waiting for their insurance adjusters. This is my 1st
experience being in a city that was impacted by a hurricane, so I would like to get suggestions and ideas from you pros out there.

Thanks
Nia

Ok take it from someone who has been there. First off go on vacation for 2 weeks right now. Because you are doing nothing but spinning your wheels and wasting alot of gas and time.

When you come back pick the zip code you what to work in.Then move in with your trucks and trailers equipment what ever you own with your name on it.

Rent a ground level storage/office pod. Set up your office and this is where you live now. Make sure your name is all over the place. Get to know the adjusters because they need you and you need them.

Most are out of town adjusters and do not understand your codes or your pricing. Work with the ones that are worth working with, you will know quickly.

You will here when they start writing checks to there client. Take numbers at the front door and be prepared to work long late hours. Go to bank often!! Good luck

Also if you can find away to get out past curfew to the bar that not suppose to be open serving drinks to the guys that work for fema that have pull hand out a business card to them and memorize or write down all the good info they will give you. Make sure you buy the drinks
