Do Anyone Have Any Experiences With These Lead Websites?

I had a rep from www.homeimprovementportal.com and www.unitedhomeimprovement.com. contact me today for generating leads for my company. These are suppose to be exclusive leads but the pricing seems a little high. $25 for a handyman lead to $75 for a remodeling lead. Do anyone have any experience with these lead companies?
Thanks for the info. and have a great weekend.
Steve

Homeimprovementportal will have a scarce amount of leads, but they'll be higher quality in comparison to other online lead generation sites.

They are the same from what I can tell. On one side of the ball (United home improvement) - I've bought leads form them. My sales rep pumped up the volume of leads they expected to send us. Over 2 months i think i've received about 10. Quality is typical - nowhere as good as leads that come directly through our business... but much better than other lead services I've tried.

I've also sold leads to them for various home improvement projects.Simple affiliate marketing concept. I do not know what percentage of their busines comes from affiliates like myself, and what percent is through their own efforts. Regardless.. the more "middlemen" there are in the exchange... the lesser quality the prospect becomes.

In the end, it depends on the rate and ROI that works for your business. Some industries... $75 is WAY to high. In others... it works.

I found both to be about on par with service magic, but it's a smaller company emaning more flexibility when I have a problem.

For some reason abotu ayear ago they just stopped sending me leads. By the time I realized I called them and they wanted to set me up with a new account, they just forgot who I was? I haven't signed back up. I probably will next time we are slow on leads, which won;t be until I hire another estimator.

I've just started with fresh-web-solutions.com. I'm dealing with a guy named Gavin. So far he's been really good about finding out exactly what I want with the website and he's making it right now. The price I paid was 129 for the design since I'm hosting with them as well. Does that line up with what you guys have been paying as well? The sample site looked good so I thought I'd give it a go.

You must have the 5-web-page set-up. It's only $14.95 per month after that. Some here spend more.
QUESTION? Do they own your newly 'dot-com'ed' name? Or did you register it?

Since I'm a cheapskate, I went with GoDaddy. My Dot-com is my own and it goes wherever I take it. A single dot-com is only about $6.95 to $8.95 for a year.

I have used homeimprovementexpo. all their leads are guranteed exclusive. They sell zipcodes and gurantee that in the zipcodes you purchase, all leads generated will be reffered to you exclusively. They dont charge per lead. In my opinion they support us contractors as opposed to the end user. Been with them for about 3 months, have received about 50 leads. Im working on closing my 7th deal right now!
Good Luck
