Custom Company Shirts And Such
Nathans thread regarding the cost differences got me wondering what company logo'd shirts, jackets, and other such items should go for and what sources we can collectively put together in one thread for the best professional deals.
Should a XXL cost 40 % more than an XL? Ed http://www.customink.com/indexb.html http://www.contagiousgraphics.com/Ga...arageSale.html http://www.cafepress.com/volleychick/3676158 Last edited by Ed the Roofer; 01-11-2008 at 07:44 PM. |

Re: Custom Company Shirts And Such
I do everything locally. I need to look in their eyes.
Just kidding, but I do need to be able to talk to them and show them stuff and look at stuff to get things the way I want them. I've found local companies that do better quality work for close to the same costs as online and turn it around just as fast. I do a lot of embrodiery for hats, jackets and shirts.

I like dealing locally too, even when looking for businesses online I check locally first. Also, let's not forget our own motto, the lowest price isn't necessarily the best price.

Re: Custom Company Shirts And Such
I wasn't necessarily posting and asking about the lowest prices.
I would like a quality resource though. Nathan has to spend 40% more for the XXL versus the XL. That does not add up, in my mind. Ed |

Bigger shirts use more material, material cost money.

We use Corporate Casuals and have liked everything they have sent to us. We have bought some single items as well as bulk and the quality is great, and the prices are pretty competitive.

Re: Custom Company Shirts And Such
We've used a local embroidme store. (embroidme.com) They are franchised So you get a small business owner who's is concerned about the final product. Also we could bring in our own article to be embroidered which was a plus for me.

Re: Custom Company Shirts And Such
kevins.biz has different specials every month. They sometimes run a deal for tshirts for $2.25 per shirt (white, one color screen print, min 144 pcs.) Branders.com will also meet and beat most prices. They are good to work with as well. I have used both of them and have been happy with quality and service.

Re: Custom Company Shirts And Such
I ordered some shirts from customink.com about 1 1/2 years ago. Very good shirts. I wear them nearly everyday. Print is still good, no fading or washout of print. Color was maroon and fading has been minimum.

Re: Custom Company Shirts And Such
I paid a one time screen print with a local guy that goes on file. The screening has my logo and matches all my letter heads. I buy all Russel pocket pull over hooded sweatshirts, regular sweatshirts, tank tops, polos and regular tee's. The cost is always on the size of the order. My orders are usually around $350-400 for a dozen to 20 items. Not real expensive cause Russel does last but no real bargin either.

Re: Custom Company Shirts And Such
I've used NEBS.com for forms & checks. They do logo wear, and almost anything you can think of...mugs, candy, pens, key chains...they seem to have it all, and good prices and fast service. And usually deep discounts on first time orders. I've only ever ordered printed materials from them though.
I get my shirts printed locally, and pay roughly ten bucks for single color, one buck for each additional color. Initial screen print orders are a bit pricey as most palces chrge 40-65 bucks per screen, and each color has to have it's own screen. Best part about my printer guy? 12 piece minimum. Don't know what the heck I'd do with 72 min. I've seen at most places. That's almost a lofetime supply for me. |

I have used Queensboro for the last three years for embroidered collared shirts. T-shirts I get locally.

Re: Custom Company Shirts And Such
I am currently using Cool Air Creations. You can find them on the web at www.morethantees.com They have been awesome to work with and the prices are very competitave. As the web address mentions they have ALOT more than just tees. Worth the visit and they ship anywhere in the USA.Ask to work with Dale!

Re: Custom Company Shirts And Such
I'm going to open up a can of worms here and probally leave myself open to a raft of pooo but I would recomend everyone to buy their advertising things from a local company that you can sit down with and do business.
As someone who was employed in the printing industry for 35+ years (I am a journyman pressman) the local companies really need and appreciate your business. Besides, you never know where or when your next referral might come from. Deal local...sort of the same argument why we all avoid the box stores and deal with the local lumber yard, electrical supply house, etc. You get the idea. Chuck |

Re: Custom Company Shirts And Such
BigO: For me its tees and sweat shirts when I'm doing the work and polos when I'm doing an estimate or follow-up. All have company logo either embroidered or screen printed. I give alot of tees and hats to customers too.
