Re: Craigslist

Does anyone else have problem with "copy-paste" codes into CL. Every time I do it looks fine then does not work in the preview. I go back to edit and all " have turned to h's and there are added spaces. Once I fix that it works. Copy from ms word if it matters.

I read before that ms word will tear up HTML, if that is the case where should I copy from?

Copy and past from notepad ++ the same way you are doing it from word. It's a free program

Re: Craigslist

First, you need to save the picture to a free service like photobucket.com

The registration for photobucket.com is free.

After you upload the picture to photobucket, you click on the button that says 'SHARE'.

Then, you copy the entire html code and paste it into your craiglist ad.

When putting pictures on craigslist for apartments you can download them directly from your computer file, but not for contractors or skilled trades.

This it's partially true.
Photobucket will allow you to up-load any picture, but their terms of use, says that: "Use by Users. The Photobucket Services are for the personal use of Users and may be used for promotional purposes as well, but direct commercial endeavors may only be used if they are specifically endorsed or authorized by Photobucket. Photobucket reserves the right to remove commercial content in its sole discretion.
Commercial advertisements, affiliate links, and other forms of unauthorized solicitation may be removed from images, videos and/or Member profiles without notice or explanation and may result in termination of Membership privileges. Photobucket reserves the right to take appropriate legal action for any illegal or unauthorized use of the Photobucket Services."

in other words, you can not advertise for commercial purposes if yo have a FREE acct.
People can FLAG YOU in CL and photobucket will delete your images.

I should start reading the agreements.

Thank you.
