Anybody use this service? How good are the leads? What is the cost?

Re: Contractorleads.com

That's not a leads site, that's a guy who bought a domain name and puts links on it for money.

He's just waiting for a payoff from some company for the name.

Re: Contractorleads.com

I have sign up for a free viewing of their leads in NJ and they send me leads for NY, conn, and Nj and none of them have enticed me to join their network. I currently pay $40 a month for bidclerk and they have large jobs that look enticing and I mean BIG, but if you are a small contractor and are going for smaller jobs, most of those jobs seem to be going to the low ballers, and I do mean LOW. I have gotten a few jobs through Bidclerk, but I am still questioning whether I will be with them much longer.

North Country I actually am a member of this site for about 4 mths now... The leads are real cheap when it comes to just paying for just the lead. You got other companies taking percentages and commission off of every job they give you. So far so good and no complaints here, it looks like they been around for 6yrs from what i was able to investigate on before signing up!

Re: Contractorleads.com

I called them today to find more about their company, here is what I came up with:
Cost per lead $34.00, this number is based on my categories and size of my market area.
You can set a budget not less than $150.00 per month, which is about 4 leads
The customer must fill out a lengthy survey. Which is good because it hill help weed out tire kickers
Each customer is verified by a phone call and E-mail verification. AWWSOME!
Costumer must own home.
Cons
No contract
Can’t find these guys on a simple keyword searches, if I can’t find them, how is a costumer is going to find them.
The salesman would not tell me how and where their company advertises, Scary.
He also told me their company uses several affiliate companies to help generate leads, but would not tell me all of thecompany’s names.
He told me the main companys name is estimatemagic.com
Combined with the other cons this could be a fatal mixture!
The salesman is going to call me back with more info in regards to my cons
Overall this company has potential, depending on who it sleeps with?

Re: Contractorleads.com

I did some research; this company generates its leads thru this company
Copeac Affiliate Program, which is a pay per Click Company.

Go onto www.ripoffreport.com or www.my3cents.com and review the negative comments.

Says it all for me right there.

Re: Contractorleads.com

Just got off the phone with sales rep again
He told me it’s a trade secrete on how they generate their leads, LOL
He also told me that their company is new to the east coast.
I looked them up in California; they seem to be a window company?
Handyhands couldn’t find them in either site?

I don't care for the tone you are using, especially when you are a new member digging up 3 year old DEAD threads and mouthing off to the site admin. I would hazard to bet that in three years, exactly what Nathan states just might have happened.

Check the date of the post I made. It was made almost 3 years ago in 2007..

Back in 2007 it was a parked page where someone was looking to sell the domain. Just as I said in my post someone has since purchased the domain and made a site from it.

You can see how the domain looked even in 2008 here: http://web.archive.org/web/200805121...ctorleads.com/

Check you facts.
