Re: Content Optimization!

site looks nice. seems like you did a bit of keyword stuffing. the words carpet and cleaning appear 25 times on one page. You don't have to do that anymore with google and sometimes they will flag it as spam.

Re: Content Optimization!

Be careful writing copy where you try to persuade people to hire you. Thats what chumps do. Lay it out what problems you can solve and your history of delivering results- without sounding like your bragging.

Re: Content Optimization!

it looks good but there is still room for improvement, for example:

1. H1 - the most important tag and you are not using it
2. H2 - add your keywords at the beginning and do not use it for phone and other things that are not important
3. H3, H4 are not used
4. P - keywords at the beginning as well, perfectly if start the sentence
5. No Images

Re: Content Optimization!

Where are your social media buttons? They should be on top of the home page. You should also interlink more your blog posts - take care about the anchor text when you're doing it. You should have more images that should be alt tagged. You should also have share buttons at the end of each blog posts.

We're trying to do this with our plumbing company. Our site has been stuffed with canned stock photos. Funny thing is that my buddy that owns a carpet cleaning company said the same thing when he looked at our site. He says his pics are 100% his team and their work.

So now I've got my plumbers on a bonus plan - kind of a contest where the person that turns in the most & the best pictures each week gets a prize. Hoping to cut all the stock photos by the end of February.

That sounds like a great idea. Can make it real easy for the FB page as well.

Re: Content Optimization!

From a customer standpoint, Checking out the homepage on the desk-top: too many words. I suggest something along the line of phone number, hours of operation, and pricing info, on P.1

The technical, and other stuff on p.2-? If you design it for the customer, the optimization will follow.

Re: Content Optimization!

Looks good just don't forget to add pictures and break up the content more. A lot of words on the page is great but try to get some background pics in there as well as a gallery of some sort.
