The Coffee News

Have any of you tried this before...?

I am sure you've seen it around in your local community. You'll always find it in Coffee Shops, Restaurants, Offices... Etc....

The ads aren't all that expensive and seem to get fairly good exposure. They also offer exclusivity. So if you're running an ad as a Masonry Contractor for example they won't allow any other Masonry ads.

I am thinking about trying a smaller campaign through my local franchisee and was just wondering if any of you have tried this...

Results?

Re: The Coffee News

Carl, we advertise in it...I think for about a year now.

We've had a few prospects (10-12) tell us that's where they found us...no sales from it yet though, but we'll continue to utilize it, pretty cheap overall...I think we pay about $1K a year.

Just like every other form of advertising, don't count on it alone to do much, just another way to put your name out there.

Re: The Coffee News

Thanks J,

Your info was helpful. My local Coffee News franchisee wants $379+ GST for a 13 week run in the publication. My target market is Contractors and Tradespeople. In my local area there is a ton of building going on with several new subdivisions etc... It's booming here for a contractor right now so I am just wanting to get in front of them quickly and not too expensively.

I am going to commit to a 13 week run and see what happens!
