You missed a golden opportunity.

They are restructuring after bankruptcy - probably can get a full page for $40/month.

And all the tire-kickers that come along with it...

We have to use them, the yellow pages are still used quite often by the 55+ crowd

Re: Anyone Want To Follow Through With This Call?

I don't know who's worse? This guy today, or the yellowpages.com homie that called last Friday and actually hooked me on the phone for a few seconds.

The homie never did say who he was with, introduced himself as Mike, as if I had known him for years, lol
He mentioned both att, and yellowpages.com, through out his ramble of a sales pitch. I asked him? So who exactly are you with a or b? He says thats us, were the same company,...

I was thinking really hard how to get off the phone.
So nicely, I just told him I had to leave, and had to get off the phone.

What was I thinking being nice???

No more of that! I've had it, with these cons!!!

Wow, I'd almost call them ethical.

Most of the time these types leave nice ambigous messages like this:

"Uh hi, yes, can you call Brandon D Bag @ 555-555-5554 about your remodeling services"

Then you call and you find out it's an outfit like them.

I might have fell for it, if;

1. I didn't have caller-id, and

2. They sent a smooth talker, that could sell ice to an eskimo!

Up to the point where I figured out, they are only trying to pry into my pocket.
