Re: Advice On Follow Up

I'm thinking about hiring or outsourcing follow-up. A company solicited me to use them for follow-up by phone after the initial appointment and until they were told no or I go the job. They would follow-up until the client was ready to begin the work; it didn't matter if it's 2 weeks or 6 months.
It seems like a good Idea. They charge $30 per hour and can typically call 6-8 of my leads per hour.

Would you do it?

Let's say two contractors gave you, as a home owner, competitive bids. The first one calls you directly in a follow up call and then the second one has Anoop give you a call. All things being equal, who would you hire?

Me, I want the guy that wants the job bad enough to spend two minutes to give me a call.

to Ross412 - how do you know they are not selling this as a "lead" to another company. Times are tough and people will do anything to make a quick buck.
